OTSFF signs sponsorship deal with Ironclad Performance Wear

Andre Laurin, president of OTSFF Sports Marketing Group, is pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive Canadian sponsorship agreement with Ironclad Performance Wear. Ironclad, a manufacturer of high quality task-specific gloves, has signed on as Team Rockstar Energy/Yamaha/OTSFF’s main supplier of work gloves for the 2013 CMRC Canadian Motocross Nationals season.

The American-based company’s logo will also be displayed on Team Rockstar Energy Polaris Racing’s competition sleds for the remainder of the CSRA Snowcross Championship season.

“We’re really excited about this new sponsor partnership with Ironclad Performance Wear and being part of their entry into the Canadian marketplace as a branding platform for their excellent line of gloves,” Laurin said.

Although Ironclad gloves will not be available in retail outlets until early next year, the company’s director of marketing, Shawn Norfolk, said the Rockstar Energy/Yamaha/OTSFF sponsorship is the first step towards introducing their product to the Canadian marketplace.

“We’re all motocrossers at heart here at Ironclad and we believe strongly in marketing our gloves through the sport, something we having been doing in the U.S. since last year. Canadian motocross is particularly attractive for us, because of the wide television exposure it enjoys, not just in Canada but the U.S. as well,” Norfolk said.

“OTSFF Sports Marketing Group was our most obvious choice to partner with in Canada, because their reputation in motosport is second to none. We’re totally looking forward to a productive relationship and successful 2013 motocross campaign with Team Rockstar Energy/Yamaha/OTSFF. When our gloves hit the shelves in Canada in 2014, we want people to know who we are. We want to hit the ground running and we’re going to do that by racing motocross.”

Ironclad, which was founded in 1997 by motocross/enduro rider Ed Jaeger, produces an extensive line of 90 specialized gloves that helps blue collar workers, mechanics, firefighters, first responders, etc. get the job done more safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Ironclad has pioneered new territory in the development of task-specific gloves, bringing new technologies, materials, and innovations to the market. The company owns 74 patents and trademarks worldwide. These exclusive properties are part of their Advanced Glove Technology (AGT), which can be seen in virtually every glove the company manufactures.
